2025 Fall Festival – September 25th – 28th.
The town of Pahrump is now accepting vender applications till August 15th on a first come first serve basis

Pahrump Community Church has a food pantry for the less fortunate that is open Mondays,Thursdays and Fridays from 9:30 to 11:30 . The church is located at 1061 E Wilson (at West St).

Tractor Supply and Never Forgotten Animal Society invite you to fall in love with a new furry friend. Every third Saturday of the month from 8 to 2.

Pahrump Valley United Methodist Church is now open on Mondays from 9 to 11 and Tuesdays from 4 to 6 PM. You may attend either day one time per week.

DAV transportation is now available to the VA Hospital at 6900 Pecos in North Las Vegas. Rides available Monday through Friday for appointments 8 AM to 4 PM. Call 702-423-4885 to schedule your ride.

Pahrump Gunfighters are looking for new members they meet the first Saturday of the month at the Library at 10 AM. For more information call 775-751-3458.

The private well owners association hosts free classes the first Wednesday of every month at 10 AM at the Pahrump Museum on Basin Avenue.

RSVP hosts “Friends Day Out/Java Music Club” at the Nye Community Coalition at 1020 East Wilson Ave on Thursdays from 11:30 to 1:30. This event provides music, conversation and fun for both those suffering with dementia and their caregivers. The events are free but do bring a sack lunch or snack. Need something to read while the library is being renovated? The library has curbside pick-up pm Tuesdays from 2 to 4 and Thursdays from 10 to noon. Remember to bring your library card.

 COMMUNITY DATES

  • April 23rd: A Representative from the Secretary of State’s Office will be in Pahrump at 6 PM to discuss Scams (against the elderly and others) and how to avoid being a victim. Everyone is welcome to come. The meeting will be held at the Seventh-Day Adventist Church at 477 N Blagg (the corner of Blagg and Gemini).
  • April 25th: Is Living Free Cafe’s 3 year anniversary. They will be celebrating all week long special. Stop by and help them celebrate.
  • April 26th: Soroptimist International Pahrump Valley presents Women’s Expo 2025 at the Nye CC from 10 to 2. This “Ladies Day Out” will feature tables on a wide variety of women’s interest. Just a fun day for us ladies.

  • April 26th: Hope NyECC is inviting you to drop off your old prescription drugs from 10 to 2 at Smith’s Food & Drug. Too often unused prescription drugs find their way into the wrong hands. That is dangerous and often tragic. Clean out your medicine cabinet and turn them in safely and anonymously at Smith’s this Saturday.

  • May 2nd: Kindergarten Round-UP from 11 to 1 at Mt Charleston Elementary. Find out what school you are zoned for. Staff will be available to help with registration. Health Office staff will also be available to help with your immunization questions. If your student in NOT registered in NCSD please bring their birth certificate, shot records and two documents with your name and address and parent ID to the event.
  • May 2nd: There is a fundraiser at Artesian Cellers benefitting Dawg House Rescuers of Pahrimp from 6 to 9 PM. They will have live band – Desert Shadows, venders, raffle baskets and wine bingo. Stop by and support this group and have some fun too.

It’s Adopt a Senior 2025. Visit FaceBook Adopt a Senior PVHS 2025. The adoptor can do whatever they like for the senior they have adopted. It can be super small or big. Go to FaceBook for information.

The Town of Pahrump is inviting nonprofit organizations to run the snack bar during this year’s Movies in the Park. There is an informational meeting on May 8th at 6 PM at the Bob Rudd Center.


The Dawg House Rescuers holds a micro-chip clinic every second Saturday of the month at Tractor Supply from 9 to 1.


West Star Ranch Animal Rescue located at 780 Manse needs volunteers to help with the animals or in the thrift store. For more information call 775-287-1436.
