Rising Star Equestrian Association is doing their "Saddle Bag Santa's" to raise money for "Toys for Tots" again this year. Trail rides are scheduled for November 29th, December 7th and December 13th. Each ride will be over a different trail and will take approximately 4 hours. Cost to participate in each of the rides is $25 per rider and the fee includes a BBQ at the completion of the ride. The Nevada Silver Tappers are presenting A Christmas Spectacular Benefit Show. December 7th at 3 and 7PM at Saddlewest. Tickets for the event are $10 and may be purchased from any Silver Tapper. All proceeds will benefit No To Abuse and Walk The Rock which provides transportation and lodging to those who have to leave Nye County for medical treatments.
The Senior Center is planning another bus trip. This time to Lake Havasu to watch the Parade of Lights. This is an over night bus trip and accomodations will be provided by Quality Inn. Nathan Adelson Hospice is holding an adult grief support group for those grieving the loss of a loved one every Wednesday at 4PM at their office located at 1480 East Calvada.
